TEAM UGANDA, PATRICK OCHENG AND JUMA SAID JOIN JBD EVENTS

Patrick Ocheng (45) and Juma Said (35), have signed with JBD Media & Events after securing a landmark victory for Uganda by qualifying for the BetVictor world cup of darts on 11-14th June, Frankfurt Germany, marking a significant achievement for both players and a proud moment for their nation.

The duo delivered a series of five impressive performances throughout the qualifier, overcoming strong competition from Malawian duo Rodgers Zako and Carnage Mkandawire to claim the top spot by winning 8-3. their success not only highlights their individual talent but also signals the growing strength of darts in east Africa.

The BetVictor world cup of darts will see 40 nations compete over four days to win the coveted World Cup of Darts. The prize fund for the event is £500,000. 

"I started playing darts only 4 years ago and to represent my country has made me very proud. if we get a good draw we could do well" - Juma Said
